The President said he shared the pain of loss with professional colleagues with the deceased, particularly those who worked closely with him at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and United Nations, as well as the Government and people of Delta State.

This is according to a press statement by Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, The Trumpet gathered.

Buhari noted the worthy representation of Nigeria by the career diplomat, who he said brought glory to the country with his expertise in repairing relations and reforming institutions, taking up challenging responsibilities over the years.
