Against the backdrop of rising global food insecurity, Nigeria is preparing to host one of the most influential gatherings in the agricultural space, the Agribusiness and Value Chain (AVC) Summit 2025, a flagship initiative of ADESEWA CONCEPT Ltd.
Held annually under the widely respected “Export Nigeria” seminar series, AVC Summit has become a unique platform for driving sustainable growth in the agricultural sector. This year’s edition promises to enlighten, encourage, empower, and engage individuals, businesses, and organizations while promoting collaboration and innovation across the entire value chain.

Speaking on the vision of the summit, Princess Adesola Debbie, a humanitarian aid professional with years of impact across livelihood initiatives, protection, and resettlement programs and the team lead of the summit, emphasized that AVC is not just another conference but a movement to position Nigeria as a leading force in food security and agribusiness transformation.
This year’s summit features a powerful lineup of visionary speakers and industry leaders. Sheriff Oyeleke, Executive Director of Upperlink Limited, will explore “Smart Farming for Food Security: How Tech is Revolutionizing Agriculture”, diving into precision farming, AI, remote sensing, and predictive analytics that are reshaping modern farming practices.
Joining him is Dr. Funmilola Williams-Daudu, a medical doctor, serial entrepreneur, and award-winning agripreneur, who will share her expertise on integrated farming, preventive healthcare, and the role of women in agriculture. With over two decades of medical practice and seven years in farming, she has trained hundreds of youths and women while building a thriving agribusiness enterprise.
Another spotlight speaker is Dr. Hauwa Aminu Wambai, founder of the Home Garden Cooperative in Abuja and winner of the Renewed Hope Initiative’s “Every Home a Garden” award. Her grassroots-driven initiative is redefining food sustainability by empowering women and families to turn household spaces into productive gardens that feed homes and generate income.
Also taking the stage is Engr. Francis Danlami, a seasoned Agricultural Engineer and consultant with expertise spanning yam, maize, rice, and other staples. Having trained thousands of farmers, retirees, and youths across Nigeria, he is recognized as one of the leading voices in agronomic practices, organic farming, and innovative crop production techniques.
Behind the summit is a dedicated team joining forces with Adesola Debbie, including Adedoyin Raymond, Aaron Raphael Ayoku, Prince Jamiu Luqman, and Reuben Kalu, all committed to steering AVC Summit 2025 to global relevance.
Participants at the summit will not only learn from industry leaders but will also gain direct access to investment opportunities, partnerships, and mentorship that can shape the future of their agribusiness journey.
