200 youths from Ebonyi State have successfully graduated from the 2024 Innovative and Integrated Agricultural Value Chains Agribusiness Training at CSS Global Integrated Farms in Gora, Nasarawa State.
The training, initiated by the Ebonyi State Government, focused on key areas like poultry, fishery, and rice production, providing participants with hands-on skills for large-scale farming. This program included 171 ward councillors and 29 other young adults, all of whom received in-depth training to boost productivity and self-reliance.
Addressing the graduates, Governor Francis Nwifuru highlighted the state’s vision to empower its youth through agribusiness, emphasizing the potential for farming to supplement their incomes and enhance personal development.
“You should put aside the title of ‘Councillor’ and engage in farming to complement your salaries and allowances,” Governor Nwifuru stated. “Being a university graduate is no reason to shy away from farming. Use this opportunity to progress from growth to success.”
