Alex Ekweme Federal University Ndufu-Alike lkwo, AE-FUNAI, in Ebonyi state, is to graduate a total of 3,474 students with different degrees.
Vice-chancellor of the University, Professor Sunday Elom, stated this on Monday at the Pre-convocation press conference to Herald the 7th and 8th combined ceremony.
Elom stated that out of the total graduating students, 357 of them belong to the 2020/2021 set while 2,117 are of the 2020/2021 academic year.
According to him, out of the number 52 graduated with first class 911 with second class ( Upper Division), 2,088 with second class ( lower Division), 407 with Third class and 1 with pass.
He further stated that the convocation lecture will to be delivered by Professor Bart Nnaji, Chairman/CEO, Geometric Power Group and former minister of power.
Adding that Honourary Doctorate degree will be conferred on two eminent Nigerians for their laudable contributions to the development of the country.
They are Chief Martin Elechi, former Governor of Ebonyi state ( Doctor of Economics) and Chief Innocent Chukwuma, founder/CEO, of lnnoson vehicle manufacturing company (Doctor of Engineering Technology).
