Kano was set aglow on Monday as the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau Jibrin, rewarded the historic feat of his club, Barau FC, with a lavish gift of N17.5 million and 35 brand-new motorcycles, following their stunning promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
The celebration, which drew fans, football lovers, and dignitaries, was capped with the unveiling of renowned tactician Ladan Bosso as the club’s new Technical Adviser. In an electrifying speech, Senator Barau announced that each player would receive N500,000 and a motorcycle as a personal gesture of appreciation for their dedication and triumph.
