The Big Brother Naija Season 10 house saw its first dramatic evictions on Sunday night, as Danboskid and Ibifubara bid farewell to the competition in an emotional live show. The evening took an even more somber turn when host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announced the death of a beloved production crew member, Ayotunde Elegbede, sending shockwaves through the BBNaija community.
The eviction night kicked off with Ebuka quizzing housemate Thelma about her feelings toward Isabella, to which Thelma hinted she didn’t believe Isabella had her brother’s back, referring to tensions following the recent Head of House challenge. Big Brother later commended the housemates for their performance in the wager task, while also revealing that Rooboy had been voted the most influential housemate of the week, with a special reward to be unveiled later.
Danboskid was the first to leave the house. His exit was marked by a heartfelt hug from close friend Zita, and the housemates’ energetic chant of “three gbosa for Danboskid.” On stage, he admitted he was shocked by his eviction but accepted it as part of the game. He expressed admiration for Zita and shared his dreams of launching a Nollywood acting career, while hinting at continuing his bond with her after the show.

Ibifubara followed as the second evictee of the night, revealing that she had felt isolated during the week as friendships shifted in the house. She confessed to having crushes on fellow contestants Otega and Bright Morgan but said she wasn’t ready to act on them. She also shared post-show plans, including starting her own podcast and expanding her hair brand.
Denari narrowly escaped eviction, despite landing in the bottom three, as revealed in the voting results later in the night.
The night’s emotional high point came when Ebuka shared the devastating news of Ayotunde Elegbede’s passing, with the show extending condolences to his family. Fans flooded social media with tributes, making #RIPAyotunde trend alongside #BBNaija10Eviction.
With the first evictions now behind them, the remaining housemates brace for more twists, alliances, and drama in what promises to be one of the most intense seasons of BBNaija yet.
