The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially confirmed the resignation of its National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje and has appointed the Deputy National Chairman (North), Ali Dalori to temporarily take on the role of acting national chairman.
Dalori will act in this capacity until the party’s National Executive Committee meets in December to find a permanent replacement.
Ganduje took over as APC national chairman in August 2023, following the resignation of his predecessor.

His resignation was confirmed by the APC’s National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Felix Morka, who said that Ganduje’s resignation is effective immediately to enable him focus on some personal matters.
Ganduje’s resignation letter, which he sent on Friday, was addressed to the party’s National Working Committee, and in the letter, he thanked President Bola Tinubu for the chance to serve in such a significant position in the party.
Morka noted that Ganduje’s leadership helped strengthen the party and successfully brought members from opposition parties into the fold.
Morka expressed gratitude to Ganduje for his efforts and accomplishments during his tenure, wishing him good health and success in his future endeavours.
He reassured party members that the APC remains dedicated to providing effective leadership and positive change for all Nigerians, in line with President Tinubu’s vision for the country.
