Speaking during his 2025 State of the State address before the Delta State House of Assembly, the governor said that of the total, 153 projects comprising 1,378.59 kilometers of roads and 292.05 kilometers of drains were initiated by his administration, while the rest were inherited and have been completed.
To mark his second year in office, Gov. Oborevwori announced the commissioning of 42 critical road and bridge projects across the state.

These include the long-awaited dualisation of the Enerhen Road, including Marine Gate and the bridge in Uvwie Local Government Area, the completed Kwale-Beneku Bridge linking Ndokwa West and Ndokwa East and the Agbarho-Orherhe-Otokutu and Otokutu-Otu-Jeremi dual carriageways that traverse Ughelli North and Ughelli South Local Government Areas.

Gov. Oborevwori also cited the completion of the Emede-Oteri-Idheze Road; the Post Office Road and Market Road in Eku, Ethiope East; and the Orerokpe-Oviore-Okpe-Oghara Road in Okpe Local Government Area as major infrastructure milestones.

Highlighting achievements beyond roads, the governor noted that the state government has improved the state’s fiscal standing, increased investments in education and health, and ensured timely payment of salaries to civil servants.

He also emphasized his administration’s commitment to youth empowerment, noting that over 3,000 young entrepreneurs have benefited from various support programmes, while the state has expanded its agricultural value chains and improved security across rural communities.
Gov. Oborevwori reaffirmed that all ongoing projects will be completed on schedule and new initiatives will be rolled out to ensure no part of the state is left behind in development.

He said the accomplishments thus far reflect the resilience, planning, and drive of his administration to transform Delta into a more connected, inclusive, and economically vibrant state.
