The Borno State Government has expressed shock over the tragic killing of a truck driver, Mal. Muhammad Bello.
35 years old Bello, was allegedly killed on Tuesday along Gamboru-Ngala Road, by a suspected military personnel.
The state government in a statement signed and made available to journalists in the state by the State Ministry of Information and Internal Security, condemned the act of violence, allegedly perpetrated by military personnel.
The government extends heartfelt condolences to the decreased family, praying for the repose of Mal. Muhammad Bello’s soul and offering strength to his bereaved loved ones.

The State government pledged to thoroughly investigate the incident, ensuring that all necessary measures are taken for a comprehensive inquiry.
Those found guilty, according to the statement, will be held accountable, facing the full force of the law.
While the investigation unfolds, the government appeals to the public, especially members of the Road Transport Workers Union, for patience and decorum.
