According to the police, Goodluck was stopped during a patrol along the Agbarho-Warri Expressway after he allegedly tried to evade officers. A search of the premises where he was apprehended reportedly led to the recovery of two locally fabricated firearms and 10 expended cartridges.

Police said further investigation led to the arrest of 50-year-old Solomon Arhugberume James. A search of James’s residence reportedly yielded a pump-action gun and one live cartridge.

Both men reportedly claimed to belong to the Nigeria Hunters and Forest Security outfit but could not produce identification cards to substantiate their claims.
