Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott has withdrawn from the England squad ahead of Tuesday’s Nations League meeting with the Czech Republic after suffering a thigh injury.
The 23-year-old is expected to spend between six and eight weeks on the sidelines after sustaining a quadriceps problem.

Scott impressed on his full England debut in Saturday’s emphatic 7-0 victory over Croatia, playing 70 minutes in central midfield alongside Elliot Anderson before being substituted.
The midfielder had reportedly felt discomfort before the match but continued to play despite the issue.
Another Setback For Bournemouth
His injury is another setback for Bournemouth, who are facing a busy period with nine matches scheduled between 10 October and 8 November.
The Premier League side are also due to play four consecutive midweek fixtures, including Europa League meetings with Sturm Graz, AC Milan and Sparta Prague, as well as a Carabao Cup clash against Aston Villa.
England manager Thomas Tuchel had praised Scott’s performance against Croatia, highlighting his composure, decision-making, energy and ability to contribute both with and without the ball.
Scott has earned two England caps, having made his international debut in a 2-0 victory over the Czech Republic in Prague before making his first start against Croatia.
Defender Ezri Konsa has also been ruled out of Tuesday’s fixture at Wembley and will return to his club for treatment.

Bournemouth are already dealing with another injury concern, with French forward Eli Junior Kroupi still unavailable after suffering a foot injury during pre-season.
The Cherries currently sit 17th in the Premier League after five matches without a win, although they have advanced in the EFL Cup and recorded a 2-1 away victory over Real Sociedad in their European campaign.
Bournemouth next face Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday before fixtures against Sunderland, Manchester United, Leeds and Ipswich ahead of the November international break.
