The air force said the application is free and advised prospective candidates to carefully study the eligibility criteria and application guidelines before submitting their forms.

Interested applicants are expected to apply through the official NAF recruitment portal: https://nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng

Candidates seeking enlistment as tradesmen/women must be between 18 and 27 years old as of March 1, 2027, while those applying as non-tradesmen/women must be between 18 and 22 years old on the same date.

Applicants must be Nigerian citizens by birth and meet the minimum height requirements of 1.66 metres for males and 1.63 metres for females.

They must also be medically, physically and psychologically fit and satisfy the service’s prescribed medical and employment standards.

For tradesmen/women, candidates with National Diploma (ND) or Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) qualifications must obtain their certificates from accredited institutions.

Such applicants are also required to have at least five credits, including mathematics and English Language, in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB or NBAIS examinations.

Candidates applying for driving positions and other trades that require a Trade Test must possess the relevant Trade Test certificate in addition to meeting the required Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination conditions.

The completed attestation form must include the applicant’s passport photograph and a photocopy of the signatory’s driver’s licence, national identity card or international passport.

The air force further announced that the zonal general aptitude test for shortlisted applicants would take place on a date to be announced through the recruitment portal.
