Popular Nigerian content creator and TikToker Jarvis has reacted angrily to an edited image of herself circulating online amid ongoing pregnancy rumours involving her and her husband, Peller.
Jarvis acknowledged that she had gained weight and that her stomach had become more noticeable, but insisted that a photo making her tummy appear significantly bigger had been digitally manipulated using artificial intelligence.
In a video addressing the controversy, the content creator criticised what she described as the unnecessary use of AI to create or alter images and fuel unverified claims about people’s private lives.
“I will not condone unnecessary AI usage. People are misusing AI in this country, and I don’t like it. Because tell me why? Yes, I know that I have big tummy. Yes, because of overfeeding, late-night food, weight gain. Yes, I know I have,” she said.
Jarvis questioned why someone would deliberately alter her appearance and then use the manipulated image to suggest that she was pregnant.
“With what I saw today online, you people edited my stomach. Una I edit am, come make am bigger. Ah! What is it? Please. Stop unnecessary AI usage,” she said.
She added that she was particularly unhappy that the technology was allegedly being used to intensify pregnancy rumours surrounding her.
“I don’t like the fact that people using AI to fuel pregnancy rumours. I will not warn you people again,” she added.

The controversy comes amid heightened public interest in Jarvis and Peller’s personal lives following their recent marriage.
Social media users have repeatedly speculated that the couple could be expecting their first child, although the latest controversy centres on the authenticity of the image being circulated online.
Jarvis, who is currently honeymooning with Peller in Tanzania, urged social media users to stop manipulating images and using AI-generated content to spread unverified stories about her.
Her reaction has, however, reignited discussions about the pregnancy rumours, with many fans now debating the authenticity of images being shared online.
