The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced that candidates who participated in its recent medical screening exercise will be able to check their recruitment status from Monday, August 3, 2026.
In an official statement issued on Saturday by the Secretary to the board, Major General (rtd.) A.M. Jibril, the board said the status-check portal will be accessible exclusively through its official recruitment website.
The CDCFIB advised applicants to rely only on information published on the official portal and ignore updates from unofficial channels or unverified sources to avoid misinformation.
According to the board, candidates who are shortlisted for the next phase of the recruitment exercise will undergo a fitness assessment followed by an oral examination.
