Popular Nigerian comedian and actor MC Lively, whose real name is Michael Sani Amanesi, has announced that he is set to tie the knot with his partner, Dumebi James.
The entertainer shared the news via his Instagram page, posting a pre-wedding video alongside the caption, “A King and His Queen!!” The announcement quickly drew congratulatory messages from fans, colleagues and well-wishers.
While MC Lively did not disclose the date or venue of the wedding ceremony, the announcement marks a rare glimpse into his personal life, which he has largely kept away from the public eye throughout his career.

Known for his witty comedy skits, MC Lively rose to fame for portraying a clever lawyer who hilariously navigates everyday situations. His unique style has earned him a massive following across social media and established him as one of Nigeria’s most recognisable comedians.
Beyond content creation, the Edo State-born entertainer has built a successful acting career in Nollywood, featuring in films such as The Ghost and the Tout, Progressive Tailors Club, Introducing the Kujus, The Order of Things and Fate of Alakada.
