The presidential campaign of the African Action Congress (AAC) candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has launched the SoworeNow mobile application as its official digital platform to mobilise supporters, coordinate campaign activities and strengthen grassroots engagement ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
The announcement was made by Sowore in a video posted on his official Instagram account, @yelesho, on Thursday, where he described the application as a tool to inspire citizen participation and deepen engagement with his 2027 presidential campaign.

Speaking in the video announcement, Sowore urged Nigerians to actively participate in the movement for political change.
“Fellow Nigerians, real change begins with action and action begins with you.
“That is why we launched the SoworeNow app. With this app, you can get verified campaign updates, join rallies and connect with other supporters to promote the movement,” he said.

Launched in July 2026, the SoworeNow mobile application serves as a digital hub designed to connect supporters, mobilise volunteers and coordinate grassroots political activities across Nigeria as preparations intensify for the 2027 general election.
According to information released by the campaign, the application provides users with verified campaign news, official statements and regular briefings on the movement’s activities.
One of its standout features is Movement AI, an artificial intelligence-powered assistant that enables users to ask campaign-related questions in multiple languages, improving accessibility and engagement.
The application also allows supporters to locate political rallies, receive event notifications and interact with verified members through a moderated community platform.
In addition, the platform includes a peer-to-peer data support feature that enables users to request internet data assistance from fellow supporters.
To enhance election participation, the app incorporates tools for reporting alleged electoral malpractice, registering as polling unit agents and monitoring live election collation during elections.
For registered members of the African Action Congress, the application offers digital membership cards that can be activated by linking an official AAC membership identification number.
The campaign also introduced a gamified reward system that allows users to earn points through regular engagement with the application.
According to the campaign, the SoworeNow mobile application is available free of charge, contains no third-party tracking software and can be downloaded through official mobile application stores.
