Hon. Valentine Asuen, a youthful and front runner for the position of the Edo South Senatorial District has promised to give quality representation to the people of the district. He made this promise while picking his senatorial form at the Abuja conference centre, the venue the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) is using as a collection centre The Trumpet gathered.
According to Asuen, “I have consulted widely with overwhelming acceptability from party faithful. I took advantage of the just concluded APC National Convention in Abuja”, he said.
Asuen also visited the immediate past National Chairman of the party, Adams Oshiomole, to receive his blessings immediately after picking his form in Abuja.

While receiving Asuen, Oshiomole Prayed “for the Senatorial district to have a senator that will represent their interests, from APC.
He spoke highly of his time as governor of Edo state particularly the Edo South Senatorial district where he won all the 77 wards in his second term. He promised to give the needed support to realise a purposeful representation of the district.
