The Accord Party’s governorship candidate in Taraba State, Prof. Jerome Nyameh, has announced the appointment of Lawal Kona as the spokesperson for his 2027 gubernatorial campaign.
According to a statement issued by the candidate in Jalingo, Kona is an experienced media professional with a background in journalism, documentary production, translation, and strategic communication.
The statement noted that he has served in various reputable media organizations, where he built a reputation for professionalism, integrity, and excellence.

Prof. Nyameh said Kona’s experience in media relations, public communication, and information management positions him to effectively communicate the campaign’s vision, policies, and programmes to the people of Taraba State and other stakeholders.
The statement further described Kona, who hails from Jalingo Local Government Council, as someone with a deep understanding of the aspirations of the people of Taraba State and the communication skills required to support the campaign’s outreach efforts.
Prof..Nyameh expressed confidence in Kona’s ability to contribute to the campaign’s objective of promoting what he described as the “Taraba Therapy Agenda 2027.”
