The African Democratic Congress (ADC), Imerienwe Ward 5 in Ngor Okpala Local Government Area of Imo State, has held a strategic meeting ahead of the 2027 general elections as part of efforts to strengthen the party’s grassroots structure and electoral preparations.

The executive committee meeting was chaired by Comrade Emeka Ukaegbu and hosted at the country home of Hon. Kingsley Odionyenma, the ADC candidate for the Ngor Okpala State Constituency seat.

The meeting focused on strengthening and consolidating the party’s structure within the ward and across the local government area.

Discussions centred on grassroots mobilisation, party unity, membership expansion and the development of strategies aimed at positioning the party for success in the 2027 general elections.

Participants reaffirmed their commitment to building a stronger and more formidable political movement capable of delivering sustainable leadership and development to the people.

Speaking during the meeting, Hon. Kingsley Odionyenma commended the ward executives for their dedication, resilience and commitment to the growth of the party.

He stressed the importance of unity, discipline and consistent grassroots engagement as key factors required to secure electoral victory.

The leadership and members of ADC Imerienwe Ward 5 expressed confidence in the party’s prospects ahead of the 2027 elections, declaring that the ward is fully prepared to mobilise support and deliver strong results for the party at all levels.

As a ward producing a candidate for the Ngor Okpala State Constituency seat, members reiterated their determination to work tirelessly to ensure the victory of Hon. Kingsley Odionyenma, whom they described as competent and people-oriented.

They pledged to intensify voter mobilisation efforts and support what they described as progressive leadership and effective representation.

The meeting ended on a note of optimism and renewed commitment, with party members affirming their resolve to play a leading role in securing victory for the ADC in the 2027 general elections.

They further pledged to continue promoting purposeful leadership, good governance and grassroots-driven politics for the development of the people.
