The campaign organization of Mustapha Salihu has announced that he is withdrawing from the governorship race of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State.
According to a statement on Wednesday, Salihu’s decision follows directives from the party leadership at the national level.
He will now pursue the senatorial seat for Adamawa Central.

Salihu expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of Adamawa State, especially APC members, for their support during his governorship bid.
He reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and the success of the APC in the 2027 elections.
