Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has broken her sillence about allegations that she snubbed Fuji musician Pasuma at a prominent birthday dinner hosted by Fathia Balogun.
The rumors began after a short video circulated online, seemingly showing Akindele passing by Pasuma without acknowledging him, which led to criticism from some social media users who accused her of being disrespectful.
In response to the backlash, Akindele took to X to clarify the situation, labeling the viral clip as misleading.
She stated that she did greet Pasuma and even danced with him during the event, while also addressing the negativity that fueled the assumptions.
Longer videos from the celebration later emerged, confirming her account and showing her approaching Pasuma alongside the host, which effectively disproved the initial narrative.
However, new discussions arose when another clip appeared, with some claiming that Akindele also ignored fellow actress Toyin Abraham.
