The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested Linus Dimas, a 43-year-old resident of Kugama Wuro Jibir, for the fatal attack on Yauba Usman, a court clerk who attempted to serve him a court summons.
Dimas was alleged to have violently rejected the court summons presented by Yauba Usman, a staff member of Nasarawo Jereng Area Court.
The rejection escalated into a gruesome attack, with Dimas wielding a knife and inflicting severe wounds on the court clerk.
Despite immediate efforts to save him, Yauba Usman was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.

The Commissioner of Police has ordered a discreet investigation into the case to unravel the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
