26-year-old arrested for killing farmer for ritual in Ondo

The Ondo State Command has nabbed and paraded a 26-year-old suspected ritualist, Olaolu Falowo for killing a farmer, and removing his body parts for money rituals, at Kuseru Village in Odigbo council area of Ondo State.

Falowo who was paraded in Akure, the Ondo State capital confessed to killing the man and taking parts of his body for sacrifice.

He claimed he killed the man who was a lunatic, sick and about to die in the forest to reduce his pains.

The victim’s body parts found in the suspect’s house include human limbs (two legs and two arms) while a human skull in a sack was recovered from his father’s house during a search by police.

A police source disclosed that the victim was murdered and his body parts removed by the Falowo in collaboration with his father.

However, a family member of the deceased who spoke with newsmen said his brother was hale and hearty before he was gruesomely murdered by the suspect in his farm, adding that his brother was a farmer who went to farm at Kuseru village.

Police

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Funmi Odunlami, said the suspect was arrested for a case of attempted car theft and when a search was conducted in his house, human limbs (two legs and two arms) were recovered while a human skull in a sack was recovered from his father’s house.

Odunlami said the two suspects are in police custody.
