Ahmad Rufai Zakari a 38year old appointee of the Muhammadu Buhari administration has entered the race for the governorship of Jigawa State under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Zakari, an expert on financial infrastructure on power, holds degrees in Engineering and Economics and worked 15 years at General Electric. He was appointed as Special Adviser to the President on Infrastructure in 2019.

Speaking about his ambition, “This is for all young people that will be encouraged to participate” He said.
