World number one Jannik Sinner has traded his tennis racket for a microphone, collaborating with fellow Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli on a new duet.
The song, titled: “Polvere e Gloria,” which translates to “Dust and Glory,” features Sinner, 23, reciting parts of his speeches from both victories and defeats.
“I am thrilled and honoured to be part of this project with Andrea, who has been an extraordinary voice and a representative of our country for 30 years,” said Sinner, the first Italian to reach the top of the men’s tennis rankings.
“I never imagined I would hear my voice in one of his songs. It’s incredibly moving.”

The track includes lyrics in both Italian and English, and the accompanying video showcases moments from Sinner and Bocelli recording the duet in Bocelli’s studio in Tuscany, along with nostalgic images from their childhoods.
This marks another venture into the sports world for 66-year-old Bocelli, who has been blind since the age of 12.
He previously recorded a farewell message for Gary Lineker’s last show as the presenter of Match of the Day in May, concluding the programme with “Con Te Partiro.”
Bocelli also performed “Nessun Dorma” alongside former Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri during the celebration of the Foxes’ 2015/16 Premier League title at the King Power Stadium.
Sinner claimed victory at the US Open in 2024 and the Australian Open in both 2024 and 2025.
