Nollywood actor, Gideon Okeke recently shared his grievances with senior colleague, Jim Iyke on Instagram.
In a previous post, Okeke referred to Iyke as a “small boy with a fake American accent,” accusing him of being disingenuous.
In a follow-up post, he clarified the reasons behind his comments, revealing that he sustained an injury while working on Jim Iyke’s set and that he felt neglected, as Iyke took no action to address his injury.
Okeke expressed that the recovery process has been challenging, taking three months and still ongoing. Jnr Pope is one death too many, too many in this business. And that only happened this year, 2024.

‘‘Had I gotten anything more than these two stitches on the set of Jim Iyke’s production, y’all would still call me a fool. I guess. It has taken me a whole 3 months to heal from that and still….
‘‘I am committed to ensuring safety at the Nollywood workplace. Sometimes, I’ve asked myself, why was it me who got hurt? I guess it is so that nobody else, gets to take one for the team.
‘‘But Jim Iyke is running… Small boy.”
