As training intensifies to select the best twenty players from the Flying Eagles’ provisional list of forty for the U20 WAFU tournament in Niger next month, Head Coach Ladan Bosso faces difficulties in pruning the list to the needed number.
The players committed to the goal of the call-up have been diligent in the training section to the best of their capacity.
In addition to the forty players invited by the U20 head coach, six players also joined the team to fight for a spot in the team, The Trumpet gathered.
Despite the challenges overwhelming Ladan Bosso, he is required to submit the final twenty-man U20 squad list within the week.

However, the WAFU tournament holds from the 7th to 20th of May 2022 while the U20 team is expected to leave Nigeria for Niamey on April 29 to get accustomed to the environment before the event officially commences.
Nigeria, Ghana, and Burkina Faso are in Group B to slug it out amongst themselves in the tournament where the finalist automatically proceeds to represent the zone at the Egypt U-20 AFCON event slated for next year.
