The West Africa Football Union B (WAFU B) have shifted the date previously slated to hold on Tuesday 12 to Wednesday 20 July for the draw of the zonal qualifiers of the Confederations of Africa (CAF) Women’s Champions League.
WAFU B had earlier slated the draw for the zonal qualifiers of the CAF Women’s Champions League at Ivotel Plateau in Abidjan but rescheduled it to take place in Morocco.
According to the information by the zonal football governing body, a notification will be communicated in due course to keep football associations in the zone abreast with further development.

WAFU’s statement read: “We hereby bring to your attention that the draw for the WCL 2022 initially scheduled for July 12th, 2022 in Abidjan, is postponed to July 20th, 2022 in Morocco. The re-transmission links will be communicated in due course.”
Bayelsa Queens are Nigeria’s contingents qualified to represent the country in the CAF Women’s Champions League after they emerged the champions of Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL), edging out Rivers Angels to the diadem in the 2021-22 season.
