The Premier League club, Liverpool, is rumoured to be interested in the Super Eagles skipper, Victor Osimhen should Roberto Firmino decides to leave Anfield in the summer.
Firmino who complements Liverpool’s attack with his fellow teammate Sadio Mane, may be on his way out of the club due to the imminent arrival of the Colombian ace winger, Luiz Diaz.
Luiz Diaz, whose deal to Merseyside has been sealed for a fee of £37.4m, will include an extra £12m as add-ons as promised by the Reds to the Portuguese team, FC Porto.
With a reference to the model operated by the Owners of Liverpool, either Firmino or Mane will have to leave the club in the summer due to the arrival of Diaz from the Portuguese club.
Speculatively, if the Brazilian or the African leaves the club, the Reds are already looking towards Victor Osimhen, a 23 years Nigerian, to fill up the void in the team.
Liverpool has always admired Osimhen when he was with the French club, Lille, before he sealed a move to the Italian club, Napoli. If the Reds decide to bring the Nigerian forward to Anfield in the summer, they will have to pay a substantial amount of money to seal the deal because he still has about 3 years left on his contract with Partenopei.

However, Liverpool will have to compete with the North London club, Arsenal, and Newcastle to get the player to Meryerside.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that Luis Diaz completed his medical to become a Liverpool FC player after a deal was sealed with his club FC Porto.
According to Neil Andrew, news broke on Friday suggesting the Reds had hijacked Tottenham’s attempts to sign the 25-year old by agreeing on a transfer for €45million plus €15million add-ons with the Primeira Liga club.
