VeryDarkMan Gifts Car to Former Neighbour
According to VDM, his family moved from Dagba to Baba Kwere in Abuja about 15 years ago.
He said the family lived with his mother in a crowded “face-me-I-face-you” compound, where the former neighbour also lived.
The man worked as a commercial driver and, according to VDM, regularly helped his mother with transportation.
He said the neighbour took his mother to work every morning and returned her home after completing his own work.
VDM Recalls How Neighbour Helped His Family
VDM said the man’s support went beyond transportation.
According to the activist, whenever food was unavailable in the house, the neighbour sometimes gave the family ₦100 or ₦200 to buy something to eat.
He recalled how the money was used to purchase basic food items, including dry okro, cooking oil and garri.
VDM said the assistance made a significant difference to his family at the time.

The content creator said he had always remembered those who supported his mother while she was raising her four children.
He explained that he made a personal promise to himself that he would remember such people if he eventually became financially successful.
“I am happy today that I am able to fulfill one of the promises I made to myself which is when I make money I will remember everyone that helped my mother when she was struggling with the 4 of us,” VDM said.
He added that the former neighbour deserved the gesture because of the assistance he provided to his family.
“This man I just gifted this car really helped our family and today he is getting a pay back,” he said.

His account centres on a former neighbour who provided practical and financial assistance at a time when even small amounts of money could help the family put food on the table.
By gifting him a car years later, VDM said he was fulfilling a promise he made to himself and expressing gratitude for the help his family received.
