Unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk has expressed confidence that Anthony Joshua will defeat Tyson Fury, revealing that he has been actively helping Joshua develop a winning strategy for their anticipated showdown.
Joshua is set to return to the ring on July 25 against Kristian Prenga in Riyadh, with plans already in place for a long-awaited clash with Fury later in the year.
Usyk, who has previously defeated both Joshua and Fury, said he has been training alongside Joshua in recent months, working with him in Spain and Ukraine to refine his approach.
“In my opinion, AJ will win against Fury,” Usyk said, noting Joshua’s improved form and mindset.

While acknowledging Fury’s abilities, Usyk described him as a dangerous opponent but maintained his belief in Joshua’s chances, adding that he wants to see him succeed.
The Ukrainian boxer also disclosed that their sessions have focused on tactics, technical skills, and mental preparation, all aimed at helping Joshua overcome Fury in what is expected to be one of boxing’s biggest matchups.
Joshua’s upcoming bout against Prenga is being viewed as a preparatory contest ahead of the high-stakes fight with Fury.
