As the lingering crisis that has rocked the ruling party in the state, PDP, deepens without resultion in sight,
The Caretaker Committee Chairman of the PDP in Bayelsa State, George Turnah, MON, has given nod to the dissolution of standing and ad hoc committees established by the previous State Working Committee ( SWC ) hitherto led by Chief Solomon Aguanna, effective from today, Friday April, 25, 2025.
This was contained in a press statement signed by Derri Alasuote Wright, Publicity Secretary, PDP Caretaker Committee in Bayelsa and made available to journists.

According to the statement which parts read ” Acting Chairman who expresses his gratitude to all individuals affected by this decision for their dedicated services to the party in their respective capacities and wishes them well in their future endeavors”
The statement further added” those affected are by this announcement directed to hand over all party properties in their possession to the secretary , Caretaker Committee of the party before the close of work on Monday , 28,April , 2025, unfailingly”
” That dissolution also include all political appointees and management staff in the categories of Directors or Directorates and Head of Departments with the administrative structures of the party in the state” the statement added.
