A trader simply identified as Ifeanyi has died following a fight with a fellow trader, Eze, at Utako Market in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The altercation, which occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, reportedly stemmed from a dispute over trading space.
Both men, who sell underwear in the market, engaged in a physical fight that led to Ifeanyi slumping and dying on the spot, causing panic among other traders.

“Eze has since been arrested and is being held at the Utako Police Station,” a source said.
A police source, who also confirmed the incident, described it as a case of manslaughter and stated that the matter would be transferred to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command for further investigation.
The body of the deceased has been deposited in the mortuary, while authorities continue their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
