Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has opened up about her journey to overcome years of smoking, alcohol use, masturbation, and anger, describing her transformation as a miraculous breakthrough.
During the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations (NSPPD) at Streams of Joy International Church, led by Pastor Jerry Eze, Dikeh shared that her challenges began in her early years.
“I started smoking at the age of 13. God has also healed me from masturbation,” she revealed, mentioning that she faced spiritual attacks for many years.
She confessed that she nearly remained silent due to concerns about her public image, stating, “the devil tried to convince me to protect my image. But I told myself, what image? The God who gave me my image is the same God who can take it away.”
Dikeh noted that a significant turning point occurred after she attended the Ghana Prayer Conference.
“I realized that the weak man who had held me captive in my dreams for so long had fled,” she explained.

She also discussed her destructive anger, saying, “An anger that ruined my life… but through praying with NSPPD, God removed all of that and granted me peace.”
At 40 years old, she expressed that she is finally experiencing peace in her life.
She shared that her smoking habit lasted around 27 years and cautioned parents against exposing their children to harmful behaviors.
“My body no longer craves it. My body is rejecting it. Today, it is broken,” she declared as Pastor Jerry Eze prayed for her and proclaimed her healing.
