The Governor of Plateau State, Caleb Muftwang has assured the people of the state President Bola Tinubu is committed to addressing security challenges in the state.
In a revelation on his his X handle, he revealed that he had visited the president to intimate him about the progress in addressing the security challenges in the state and other critical issues as well as updating him on the progress so far made since his inception as governor.
He stated that his focus remains in strengthening security measures to ensure a safe environment and make it increasingly difficult for criminal activities to thrive.

“We want to reassure our citizens and investors that Plateau State is now secure and conducive for growth and development,” he said.
Responses to the governor’s visit varied as some social media users believe that the marauders are just taking a break and that they seem to still carry out activities that are harassing the indigenes of the state.
An X user named Djelan commended the governor, but stated that more needs to be done to curb the random killings of farmers, especially in Bokko Llocal Government Wrea of the state.
