Iman Shumpert and Teyana Taylor have officially finalized their high-stakes divorce, sealing a multi-million dollar settlement that has captured widespread attention.
The former NBA star and the R&B singer ended their eight-year marriage in 2023, with a legal agreement reached in June 2024. As part of the settlement, Taylor walks away with four luxury properties worth over $10 million, a one-time seven-figure payout, and a collection of high-end vehicles, including a $300,000 Maybach and a $70,000 Mercedes Sprinter. Additionally, she retains full ownership of her business empire, securing her financial independence post-divorce.
Shumpert, who last played for the Brooklyn Nets, will pay $8,000 per month in child support for their two daughters while also covering their private school tuition.
Despite the split, Taylor has repeatedly emphasized that their separation was amicable and had nothing to do with infidelity. In a statement, she clarified, “In all fairness, Iman and I are separated and have been for a while. To be 1000% clear, ‘infidelity’ isn’t one of the reasons for our departure.” She also praised their co-parenting relationship, calling them “the best of friends” and “great business partners.”

While Taylor focuses on her career and family, her personal life has remained a topic of speculation. Her recent Oscars appearance alongside British actor Aaron Pierre has fueled dating rumors, though neither has confirmed a relationship.
Taylor and Shumpert originally tied the knot in 2016, but court documents reveal that the marriage deteriorated due to Shumpert’s alleged jealousy over Taylor’s rising fame and insecurities about their relationship.
With the legal battle now behind her, Taylor is stepping into a new chapter—one where she remains in control of her empire while co-parenting with Shumpert under amicable terms.
