The Taraba State chapter of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) has denied reports claiming that it issued a warning over the alleged non-payment of four months’ salary arrears.
In a statement signed by its Chairman, Nathan Solomon, and made available to journalists in the state, the union said it did not authorize any individual or group to issue such a warning or to speak on its behalf regarding the issue.
The union reaffirmed its commitment to the welfare of its members, noting that it engages relevant authorities only through established and lawful channels.

According to the statement, such claims did not originate from the NUT and should be disregarded by the public.
