According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, T-Pain claims Konvict Entertainment received more than $1.3 million from a music distributor in March from sales and other earnings generated by his recordings in late 2025.
Under the terms of his 2005 recording agreement, T-Pain says he is entitled to 75 percent of net royalties from the relevant music revenue.
The singer reportedly received a payment of $489,047 in June but alleges that another $489,047 remains outstanding.

T-Pain is accusing Konvict Entertainment of violating the terms of his original recording agreement as well as a 2025 settlement reached following an earlier legal dispute between both parties.
The latest lawsuit marks another chapter in the long-running financial disagreement between the Grammy-winning artist and Akon’s label.
T-Pain has yet to receive the remaining payment, with the dispute now before the courts.
