The senator representing Delta South Senatorial District, Sen. Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, has congratulated Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, on his conferment with the Christian Icon Award by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Abuja.

The senator commended CAN for recognising Oborevwori’s contributions to governance and urged the governor to remain steadfast in his commitment to the development of Delta State.
He expressed confidence that the recognition would further inspire the governor to sustain his administration’s development initiatives under the MORE Agenda, which focuses on meaningful development, opportunities for all, realistic reforms and enhanced peace and security.
