Popular social media personality Saida Boj has voiced her frustration over Nigeria’s worsening economic and security challenges, revealing that she is now considering relocating abroad despite previously being optimistic about the country’s future.

In a video shared on X, the influencer reflected on how she once dismissed the idea of “japa” (emigration), believing that conditions in Nigeria would eventually improve. However, she said recent experiences have left her deeply disappointed and concerned about the nation’s direction.

According to Saida Boj, rising insecurity, the high cost of living, poor infrastructure, and unstable electricity supply have made everyday life increasingly difficult for many Nigerians.

She particularly expressed concern about the state of security on major roads, noting that the fear of kidnapping has made travelling to her hometown in Kogi State feel like a dangerous undertaking.

The social media personality also lamented the soaring cost of transportation, arguing that many citizens can no longer afford experiences that were once considered basic necessities.

Speaking in the viral video, she said that travelling by road to her village has become too risky, while air travel remains out of reach for many Nigerians due to its high cost.

Saida Boj further criticized the country’s deteriorating infrastructure and economic conditions, stating that many citizens have lost hope in the possibility of meaningful change.

Her comments have since sparked reactions online, with many Nigerians sharing similar concerns about insecurity, inflation, and the increasing cost of living across the country.

The video has generated widespread discussion on social media, with supporters agreeing that insecurity and economic hardship have significantly affected the quality of life for many Nigerians.
