
Almeria forward Umar Sadiq fancies a move to join Sevilla and could wait after his contract ends with Rojiblancos.
The player has been on the radar of several European top clubs but the Super Eagle prefers to remain in Spain with reports claiming he rejected offers from Bayern and Benfica to await Sevilla’s offer.
Reportedly, Sadiq has been on the watchlist of Sevilla, who have spotted the goal poacher while he was at the Spanish Segunda division but with the club having gained promotion to La Liga, the issue becomes a bit complicated for Sevilla. The Trumpet Gathered
Sevilla need Sadiq to bolster their attack having proven last season as a reliable goalscorer, netting 18 goals in 36 appearances for Almería in the Spanish second-tier division to complement their promotion to the top-tier.
However, Sevilla can only finance the deal with proceeds from the sale of Jules Koundé, who is on heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, while Barcelona have planned a €45m bid for the defender.

More so, if Sevilla does not intend to proceed with the signing, the 25-year-old who months ago agreed verbally to join the Spanish club, could change his mind.
Other European clubs like Dutch champions Ajax and RB Leipzig are on standby having shown strong interest in the player.
With Almeria star eager to switch to the Spanish club, All is left for Sevilla director of football, Ramón Rodríguez Verdejo to facilitate the deal before the Super Eagles’ striker changes his mind.
