Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has renewed her criticism of Judy Austin, challenging her to appear in court over an alleged ₦1 billion lawsuit while declaring that she intends to pursue the matter to its conclusion.

Edochie made the remarks in a series of social media posts in which she referred to an ongoing legal dispute and alleged that Judy had previously been sued in a case involving claims of bigamy.

The actress questioned whether Judy would appear in court to face the legal proceedings, saying she would remain determined to establish what she described as the truth behind the matter.

“Make sure you appear in court this month because I will not rest until I get to the root of it,” Edochie wrote.

She further stated that she expected Judy to appear in court on August 29, while criticising what she described as her failure to personally face the legal dispute.

Edochie also addressed the alleged defamation case involving Judy, questioning the basis of the legal action against her.

“You are suing for character defamation kwa?” she wrote.

The actress went on to make allegations concerning Judy’s relationship with another woman’s husband, claiming that the situation had caused damage to a family.

Edochie accused Judy of allegedly interfering in another woman’s marriage and warned that she would eventually face what she described as the consequences of her actions.

She further stated that Judy would be the first to “face the full repercussions” and “contend with karma.”

The actress also criticised individuals supporting Judy in the ongoing dispute, making disparaging comments about what she described as their backgrounds and family experiences.

Edochie said she remained unmoved by online criticism from Judy’s supporters and maintained that she would continue pursuing the matter through the legal process.

Her latest comments represent another escalation in the long-running public dispute involving members and associates of the Edochie family.

The disagreement has repeatedly played out on social media, with the parties exchanging accusations and counter-accusations over family and relationship issues.

Edochie’s latest posts have now shifted attention back to the reported court proceedings, particularly her claim that Judy is expected to appear on August 29.

However, the allegations made by Edochie remain claims from her side of the dispute. Judy Austin’s response to the latest accusations was not contained in the posts referenced in this report.

The reported legal proceedings will determine the issues before the court, while Edochie’s latest statements indicate that she intends to continue pursuing the matter until it is resolved.
