The elder brother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, Sammy West, has denied allegations of drug abuse made against her by her husband, Ned Nwoko.

West stated clearly that Regina Daniels is not affiliated in any drug and urged the public to disregard the claims, describing them as false and misleading.

This follows a viral video showing Regina Daniels appearing visibly distressed while alleging she could no longer cope with the situation in her marriage.

The actress’s brother, Sammy West, had earlier accused Sen. Ned Nwoko of assault and domestic violence.

However, Sen. Nwoko, in a statement released on his verified Instagram account, dismissed those accusations and instead claimed that Regina’s alleged involvement with drugs and alcohol was the root cause of their marital issues.

He denied being violent toward her, saying her recent behavior had become erratic and aggressive.

According to Sen. Nwoko, within a span of 48 hours, the actress reportedly attacked three domestic staff members and damaged several properties, including vehicles and windows.

He further alleged that she had refused to participate in a rehabilitation program he arranged for her both in Abuja and abroad, where her access to drugs would have been restricted.

The billionaire politician expressed concern for Regina’s safety and the welfare of their child, saying her actions had become increasingly unstable and worrisome.

Responding to the allegations, Sammy West took to Instagram on Monday to defend his sister, insisting once again that Regina Daniels is not affiliated in any drug or misuse.

He emphasized that, like every other marriage, theirs also has its challenges, and urged fans to show understanding rather than spread unverified stories.

In his words, he wrote: “Lol, where that girl wey say I no suppose dey post my cana again? Before Ned I steady on my kpo. After Ned I still dey on my kpo 100%.

“As I no talk, make una avoid me. No marriage without problems, but remember I decided not to speak. There is no perfect couple.

“PS: Regina Daniels is not affiliated in any drug or misuse. She is not granting any useless interview or tryna feed y’all timelines! Anything wey go up must come down.

“Shoutout to y’all for your concern, love, texts, and checkups. None is being taken for granted.”
