The Spanish football giant, Real Madrid are exploring options to bolster the club’s attacking lineup ahead of the next season by circling on key interests in French Ligue 1 and the German Bundesliga.
The club has waved off the notion that they will offload some of their players from the squad stating that what the club needs are some vital components to compliment the team’s attacking options.
According to Real Madrid, they are not planning to make drastic changes to the team’s squad next summer but are making concerted efforts to see that they add attacking-minded players like the widely rumoured Paris Saint-Germain Kylian Mbappe and Borussia Dortmund Erling Haaland.
Real Madrid’s potential signing, Kylian Mbappe has been on the radar of the club with the football community believing the move by the player to the Santiago Bernabeu could have taken place in the January transfer window.
Also on the radar of Los Blancos is Erling Haagland of Borussia Dortmund who is highly coveted by top clubs in the Premier League, Serie A, and German Bundesliga.
However, if Real Madrid fails to secure the services of the players, they will have to look at other attacking options to strengthen the squad by signing a winger and a midfielder which will depend on their price tags.
Recently, the players and the coaching crew were criticized after the club lost 1-0 to PSG in the first leg of their round of 16 Champions League clash which instigated the rumour of a complete overhaul of the entire team.
Real Madrid, despite being limited in its attacking options and skeptical deals in the shady summer transfer market, are not willing to jettison their working financial model adopted since the advent covid19 pandemic that has affected so many economies.
In a nutshell, some players in Real Madrid, Gareth Bale, Marcelo, and Isco, whose contracts are coming to an end during the summer will be released by the club while others, Jesus Vallejo, Mariano Diaz, and Dani Ceballos, are expected to follow suit.
Accordingly, the club may decide to sell Eden Hazard but Marcus Asensio’s future is still undecided until the end of the season while the club’s loanee, Alvaro Odriozola will return to Fiorentina.
Moreover, while some players would be leaving the Spanish giant in the summer, the club may decide to promote Rafa Marin from Real Madrid Castilla to join the likes of Toni Kroos, Casemiro, Fede Valverde, Luka Modric, and Eduardo Camavinga for Real Madrid’s next season campaign.
