The race for the 2026 President Federation Cup women’s title intensified on Wednesday, as FC Robo Queens, Heartland Queens, Sunshine Queens and Nasarawa Amazons secured places in the semi-finals following hard-fought quarter-final victories.
FC Robo Queens on Thursday, edged defending champions Rivers Angels 1-0 to book their place in the last four, while Heartland Queens defeated Ibom Angels 4-2 on penalties after both sides played out a 2-2 draw in regulation time.

Sunshine Queens also advanced with a narrow win 1-0 victory over Confluence Queens, while Nasarawa Amazons overcame Edo Queens 5-3 in a penalty shootout after a goalless draw.
Meanwhile, the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, Delta State, has been confirmed as the venue for the grand finale of the 2026 President Federation Cup, scheduled for July 11.
The men’s final will feature Ikorodu City and three-time champions El-Kanemi Warriors, who defeated Nasarawa United and Wikki Tourists respectively in their semi-final encounters.
The women’s finalists will emerge from the upcoming semi-final clashes involving the remaining four teams.
