Controversial artist Portable has commented on the premature passing of Afrobeat musician Destiny Boy, asserting that the late singer had more talent than Grammy-winning star Wizkid.
In a video that has been circulating on social media, Portable expressed his views on Destiny’s challenges within the music industry.
“Destiny Boy, we miss you. He could sing better than Wizkid, but he lacked support. God, please don’t let me die young. Be cautious, as there is fake love everywhere,” he said.
Portable further suggested that Destiny Boy had been dealing with serious health issues privately, claiming the artist faced numerous struggles without sufficient help.

He also questioned why Destiny Boy chose to separate from his former collaborators, the 2T Boys, indicating that his situation seemed to deteriorate after that decision.
“If he died at his babalawo’s place, it was due to his illness. He had been enduring a lot alone. I don’t understand why he left his supporters, 2T Boys. Everything changed for him after he parted ways with them,” he remarked.
It’s worth noting that Portable was recently released from prison following a heated dispute with his fourth baby mama, Ashabi Simple.
His remarks have sparked mixed reactions online, with some agreeing with his insights about the harsh realities of the music industry, while others criticized him for making such statements during a time of mourning.
