The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested two suspects in connection with a recent burglary at a phone accessories store in Kilimi Village, Michika Local Government Area.
According to a statement by the command’s spokesperson, Suleiman Nguroje, the suspects were apprehended following credible intelligence on a break-in that occurred on September 5, 2025.
The police revealed that the suspects allegedly broke into the shop and stole several valuable items.
Acting swiftly on the tip-off, operatives from the Gombi Division located and arrested the suspects.
Recovered items include a mobile phone, an MP3 player, a DP light, and a rechargeable table fan, among others.

The suspects have been identified as Hassan Adam and Daniel Ishaya, both residents of Michika Town.
During interrogation, the police said the suspects reportedly confessed to the crime.
As of the time of filing this report, the police said the suspects will be formally charged in court once investigations are concluded.
The state Commissioner of Police, Dankombo Morris, commended the operatives for their swift and effective response, reaffirming the command’s commitment to maintaining law and order across the state.
