The Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) has condemned the killing of the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of the Rano Police Station in Kano State, CSP Ali Baba.
In a statement released on Tuesday in Abuja, the National Chairman of the PCRC, Alhaji Mogaji Olaniyan, expressed deep sadness over the tragic event, which occurred on Monday.
Olaniyan called the attack a shameful act that disrupts the enforcement of the law and shows a lack of respect for the sacrifices made by police officers.
He extended his sympathy to the Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Kayode Egbetokun, the Kano State Police Command, and the family of the deceased police officer.
