Breaking: Parties seek 2 months extension of parties primaries

The 18 political parties have demanded from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) a two-month extension for the conduct of party primaries The Trumpet gathered.

Chairman, Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) made this demand in his address before the commencement of a quarterly meeting between INEC and leaders of political parties ongoing at the INEC headquarters, Abuja.

However, INEC chairman, Prof Mahmood Yakubu earlier in his welcome address told the them clearly that the Commission will not review the election timeline.
