Ondo Governor Pledge Adequate Support for Security Operatives

Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has disclosed that his administration will continue to give necessary support to the security operatives in the state, most especially the Amotekun Corps to enable them remain on top of their game.

Akeredolu, who spoke yesterday at the grand opening of Dejavu Hotel and Suites, Elshadai Road, Alagbaka, Akure, reiterated his administration’s zero tolerance for insecurity and criminality.

The Governor said he is confident that incidences of criminality have reduced drastically in the State through the collaborative effort of Amotekun with other regular security agencies.

He said: “We can say with all confidence that through the collaborative effort of Amotekun with our regular security agencies, incidences of criminality have been reduced considerably in our State.”

He let out that his administration will continue working with all security operatives for strong security across the State.

“We shall continue to work in synergy with all our security agencies in the State to ensure that the security architecture remains strong and continues to secure the frontiers of Ondo State. Let me also call on the private sector to join the government in the funding of our security agencies operating in our State,” the Governor said.
